The Unhandsome Prince

Letter from my darling daughter: (Who shall remain nameless... because she seems to always be mad at me for something, or mad at her dad for something, or mad at both of us at the same time, or fractions of each of us. The point being that we are generally in a no win situation and I'm attempting to not spray any fuel on the fire...)

Dear Mother:

I change my mind about what I want for Christmas. (yes the fact that it is still early October is not lost on me) For Christmas all I want is to have a friend that I can come home to and be all mine. I would like it if I could snuggle with it. Or play with it.

Ideas: dog, horse, zebra, turtles

Any other animals don't think about. Or you could adopt a child who is my age and I get to pick her out.

Sincerely,
Your Ever Loving Daughter

Argue however you would like the merits of snuggling a zebra, horse or turtle... My favorite is the sentence where she would like to 'pick out' a child her age? lol Does she know many children her age? They are going to be as usually annoyed with her as she is with all of us. Plus the section for that item is regrettably small at Target. It's a good thing she's giving us so much time to find her 'Christmas' presents this year!

Love her. Love her, love her, love her. And I have a great deal of hope that she will love me more than she is annoyed with me eventually. I snuggle you know... She's missing the opportunity right in front of her. :-)
