Today Maximus blessed the Sacrament for the first time. MADEMYDAY. Loved every second. He was nervous as can be, which was weird because he does not get nervous. Loved watching him sweat almost as much as I loved watching him bless.
Had 13 kids show up to Sunday School also. 13!!!! All between the ages of twelve and fifteen. They never all show up, what was the deal?! And will it happen ever again? I explained that with 14 people in the classroom that everybody should be careful to only comment or talk 1/14th of the time. And then we just plowed on. It went better than I expected!
Took the teenagers to the Seminary Fireside tonight also, was very appreciative that it only went an hour (my personal thanks to whoever made that decision, and can we continue with it for all future firesides?) and that President Packer played the candor card. No reason to waste time and mess around, agreed? Love the seminary program, more now than back in the day. (Sorry Bro. Best for all my shenanigans and antics.)
